Week 2 Comprehension Task

Reaction Question: Do you think it is a good idea to learn our times tables using songs? Why/ why not?

Response: I think that it is a good idea because Miss West showed me a text and it said this . To calm your nerves and help you concentrate, a little bit of Mozart might make memorization more manageable. To me it really related to the question.

TERM 3 PAIDEIA SEMINAR

Finally it was time to walk into the Tusitala for the Term 3 Paideia Seminar. In my group it was Jahzara and Zaeeda our group was called Gravitia. The focus question was “Is Being Civilised such a good thing”. For me I was so nervous and excited. As I sat down Mrs Sinclair told everyone to just jump into it, but I was feeling shy.  I am not surprised that I was a bit shy because in the last Seminar I did not talk much but in reality I’m the complete opposite. So for the Seminar Mrs Sinclair wrote down everyone’s name and she gave a point if you had a question or a statement.
