Edens Animation Voiceover about Rata and the Totara Tree
- One Day Rata came out of his Marae and went for a walk in the forest. He then saw a tall and big totara tree and started thinking what he should do with it, he then knew what he was about to do. So he started to cut the tree with an axe then all of a sudden Tane Mahuta then said “Why are you cutting down my son! “. Rata replied “ Sorry, I was going to use it to build a waka so we can catch some fish for my whanau “ . “As long as you were reasonable you may“ Tane Mahuta said politely.

Letter to Mr Burt
Dear Mr Burt,
I am writing to you because Room 10 would like to plant some Harakeke\flax around the school. Because flax bushes will often support a large community of native birds, and also it provides shelter and food resources for them. The Harakeke is also known for weaving, so if girls are good at braiding then we can definitely weave! So here are two areas that I want to plant my Harakeke\flax.
